General Ledger Accountant

Responsible for creating, entering, and posting all journal entries for each month-end plus running closing jobs. Assist in the management of the preparation and tracking of monthly account reconciliations. Distribute month-end operational performance metrics and financial reports to various levels of management. Input of budget/forecast information.
Qualifications:
• 2-5 years General Ledger experience
• Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting and/or Finance • CPA is desirable

Director of Physician Services
The Director of Physician Services will be responsible for the entire hospital system which is in Central Texas. The Director of Physician Services will have administrative direction for the physician relations program (system wide), medical staff services, medical education (CME), medical library, and institutional review board. Acquaints new physicians with the system’s mission and services. Serves as a liaison to resolve service problems. Facilitates all aspects of organization and credentialing for over 2000 medical staff and health professional staff members. Responsible for development and implementation of operations, budgeting, staffing planning, and information systems.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a health care related field.
Experience: Min. of five years management experience. Knowledge of continuing medical education and medical library operations preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services (CMSC) required.
Interpersonal Skills: Works closely with the medical staff, hospital staff, senior management, hospital directors, external agencies, and administrative and credentialing agreement customers. Requires excellent oral communication skills, strong interpersonal and management skills, leadership and analytical abilities. Position further requires independent problem solving, decision making and negotiating abilities. Must be able to develop trusting relationships with medical staff and department personnel.
