Bank Compliance Officer

We are conducting a search for a Compliance Officer for a well established community bank. Our client has several branch offices and deep roots in the South Texas area and has the distinction of being recognized for their high level of integrity. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the area and be able to perform the following, not all inclusive, list of responsibilities

• Develop and implement all aspects of the Compliance Management Program
• Performs duties as the Bank’s Compliance Committee chairperson.
• Assist independent, state and federal auditor inquiries
• Make recommendations to Board of Directors and submit annual reports
• Maintain a proficient knowledge of all banking rules and regulations
• Conduct various quality control reviews and monitoring of in the area of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Customer Identification Program compliance.
• Perform duties as Community Reinvestment Act Officer; establish and maintain relationships with community based, charitable and non-profit organizations; ensure the Bank meets the needs of the community and attains CRAS compliance goals
• Performs duties as the Privacy Officer, ensuring the safety and security of customer information
• Verify the accuracy of APY and APR calculations for system , disclosure and advertising purposes
• Maintains a Compliance Library and ensures all materials are current and available for reference

Bank Audit Officer

We are conducting a search for an Audit Officer for a well established community bank. Our client has several branch offices and deep roots in the South Texas area and has the distinction of being recognized for their high level of integrity. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the area and be able to perform the following, not all inclusive, list of responsibilities:

• Oversee organization, direction and control of lending, financial and operational audits
• Formulate audit programs and schedules including budget and staffing requirements
• Mitigate risk by making recommendations and implementing policies, documentation, policies and       preventative actions
• Work closely with COO to provide consultation and advice with respect to financial accounting, operations, and internal control
• Review audit reports and perform daily callback of system, specification or security changes
• Coordinate audit plans with third party auditors and/or regulatory examiners
• Maintain accurate, advanced knowledge of financial industry audit trends

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Work experience in audit department operations and management activities
• Working knowledge and understanding of bank financial accounting, lending functions and operations
• Advanced knowledge and experience with related state and federal laws and regulations
• Skilled in bank auditing and internal control techniques and oversight management

Senior Design Engineer

We are conducting a search for a Texas based company with an office in Northwest Houston for a Senior Design Engineer. We are particularly interested in candidates that have experience with rotating equipment design. Candidates should be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct product engineering projects
  • Perform structural and technical product designs,  computational fluid dynamics studies, finite element analyses and electrical analyses
  • Design and development of special equipment and/or tooling
  • Originate and apply innovative and unique methods and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master of Science in Mechanical, Electrical or Marine Engineering
  • Five years experience in the design and manufacture of rotating, electrical, electro-hydraulic or marine propulsion machinery
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctorate (Ph. D.) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Seven Years experience in the design and manufacture of rotating, electrical, electro-hydraulic or marine propulsion machinery
