Houston, TX: Fortune 500 company, well-respected in the Oil and Gas industry, is seeking qualified technical sales engineer to join their team of professionals. Responsibilities include special project work for the district and developing and maintaining sales relationships with assigned customers. Assist in selling products and services to customers. Assist sales group in preparing proposals. Provide all performance bulletins for the district. Use performance highlights to create brochures and other selling tools. Additionally, responsible for helping and coaching all field sales representatives by riding in the field with them. Prepare summary reports for district and region managers covering market share. financials, top customers/sales person, and margins.
Knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to be considered: Bachelors degree (minimum), technically/mechanically proficient, competent user in most computer programs, especially MS Excel. Must have exceptional organizational skills to be able to multi-task in this role. Must have outstanding communication skills. Proven negotiating skills. Innate understanding of customer behavioral styles.
Company will train the right individual on products and applications.
Salaried Position with Benefits. $60K.
