Purchasing and Payables Manager

Our client, a large, local firm, has asked us to conduct a search for a manager to direct both their accounts payable department and their purchasing department. The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Managed a payables department that processed a very high volume of payables.
• Previous purchasing experience in a mid-size to large company
• Prior management and supervisory experience.
• Degree in related field preferred but not required

Purchasing Agent

Large company located near the downtown area is looking for a Purchasing Agent for a very busy office. Only experienced candidates need apply.

Your experience should include 2 plus years of the following:


•Process orders: Customer Service/National Accounts/Imports
•Perform routine review of various product lines
•Monitor, update and place stock orders
•Create shipment manifests for receiving
•Negotiate rates with freight brokers
•Good communication skills
•Detail oriented
•Ability to make quick considered decisions
•Computer literate / Microsoft Office and typing skills a must
•Trucking or logistic experience
•Familiarity with international logistics

Pay range = $12-$14
