• Managed a payables department that processed a very high volume of payables.
• Previous purchasing experience in a mid-size to large company
• Prior management and supervisory experience.
• Degree in related field preferred but not required

Accountant

Degreed Tax Accountant needed for a busy public accounting firm in downtown Corpus Christi. Duties include: preparing tax returns for corporations, partnerships and individuals. Additionally, reconciling financial statements in preparing and completing the appropriate tax return. To be considered, candidates must have experience and current working knowledge in using all appropriate adjustments, deductions, and credits to manage and/or mitigate taxing authority fees. Ability to work in a paperless environment, manage strict deadlines to include working long hours during tax season. MS Excel and QuickBooks.

Senior Control Systems Engineer

Our client is a Fortune 500 company which is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional who likes challenge and opportunity. Responsibilities:

• To troubleshoot and maintain DCS systems.
• Provide recommendations for improving process control and instrumentation.
• Develop and implement advanced process control schemes and control techniques.
• Design multi-variable control systems for all types of refinery equipment processes.
• Assist process engineers in unit troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain Control Systems implementation and maintenance procedures.

If you possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or other engineering discipline required.
• A minimum of 5 years experience as Process Control Systems Engineer, or advanced process control field experience required within a manufactuing facility, a refinery, or chemical plant.
• Knowledge of DEC computer, VMS operating system, Foxboro I/A and Honeywell DCS systems software preferred.
